How to convert 3D models files?
« on: July 04, 2013, 08:37:43 PM »
Hi all,

I often create my models using a number of different softwares. Autodesk, Blender, etc and I'm wondering what the best way to convert the files is. I usually go to SAT, and then use a meshlab script to batch convert to STL. This is all good, but seams rather time consuming any thoughts?

Also, if I turned my meshlab script into a cloud based service with API would you guys use it?

Regards,
Taylor Amarel

Hi Taylor

Both inventor and blender have options to export as an STL, maybe you have older versions??
